These terms apply to freecell.plyyard.com, developed and maintained by Ply Yard. They cover numbered deals, the Daily Deal, app installation, and related pages. Read them before use; stop using the site if you disagree. Data processing is explained in the privacy policy.

Service Scope and Game Rules

The site provides standard single-player FreeCell: eight cascades, four free cells, and four foundations, with all 52 cards face up. You can open Microsoft deals 1 to 1,000,000 or the UTC Daily Deal, and use undo, hints, and auto-collect. No download or account is required. There is no local two-player mode and no live rooms.

Building, empty columns, the run limit, auto-collect, and hints follow this table. The rules page explains differences from Microsoft FreeCell, Klondike, and Baker's Game. These rulings complete the browser game; they do not replace a tournament referee or another program. There is no rank certification, prize event, or public leaderboard.

Hint runs Freecell Solver in the browser first, then a local heuristic if needed. The first press only marks origin and landing; the second plays. The line is not guaranteed shortest. Eight deals in the Microsoft million are known to be unwinnable; Hint says so when the current position cannot be finished. The shortest-move figure on a deal is reference data for that opening, not a player rating.

Permitted Use and Content Rights

Normal use for personal practice, family play, or teaching is permitted, as is sharing public pages and deal numbers. Free access does not authorize copying the whole site, redistributing assets, or offering a service under its name.

Original copy, design, branding, images, and code belong to their creators or other rightsholders and remain subject to their applicable licenses. Traditional FreeCell rules do not become exclusive to this site. Card faces use hayeah/playing-cards-assets under the MIT License; the original Vector Playing Cards artwork is in the public domain. Check the relevant permissions before copying, mirroring, or redistributing; contact the operator where permission is absent.

Prohibited Conduct

  • Do not use automation, scraping, abnormal request volume, or bypasses that harm availability.
  • Do not access protected delivery paths without authorization, exploit vulnerabilities, or submit malicious code.
  • Do not mirror the whole site, resell the service, or present a modified page as official Ply Yard without permission.
  • Do not use the site for unlawful activity or impersonate it to publish misleading material.
  • Only submit text and attachments you may lawfully provide, without unnecessary private data about others.
  • Do not present this table's hints, shortest-move figures, or local scores as event certification, official ranking, or someone else's result.

Sharing Deal Numbers and the Daily Deal

Sending someone a deal number lets them open the same opening in their own browser. The number is not a login token and does not carry your move count, undo history, or scores. They see the same deal, not your progress.

The Daily Deal maps the current UTC date to one number. Everyone who opens it on that UTC day sees the same cards; known unsolvable numbers are skipped. It is not a live match, and there is no spectating or room invite.

There is no public lobby, private room, or seat recovery. Do not treat a deal link as something only your intended guest can open. Anyone with the address can start that deal themselves.

Progress, Scores, and External Services

Undo restores an auto-collect batch as a unit, and it can also take back a move you played. Dealing a new number overwrites the main-table in-progress save; it does not wipe all scores. Clear local record on the table wipes scores only and does not redeal the current game.

Unfinished positions and scores stay in the current browser. Clearing site data, changing browsers or devices, or automatic browser cleanup can prevent recovery. There is no cloud archive, and deleted local records cannot be restored here. Keep a separate copy of any layout or screenshot you need long term.

Adding the site to a home screen or Dock does not guarantee offline access or permanent saves. Hosting, analytics, and email use service providers. External sites have their own terms; the privacy policy explains data processing and retention here.

Availability and Liability Limits

Continuous availability, error-free operation, and compatibility with every device or network are not guaranteed. Rules, hint solving, interface, deal metadata, and the daily mapping may change for fixes, maintenance, or security. Changes or interruptions can prevent continued use of existing local progress.

To address faults, security risks, or prohibited conduct, the site may take proportionate measures, including rejecting requests, limiting access, or pausing features. Contact us about a restriction with the time, page, and circumstances.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, the site is not liable for indirect losses from interruptions, lost local data, network or device failures, or reliance on hints or explanatory copy. These terms do not exclude liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limit mandatory user rights.

Updates and Contact

Material changes to the service or these terms will update this page and its date. Revisions apply to access and use after publication; any additional notice required by applicable law will follow that requirement.

For terms, licensing, or access-limit questions, include the domain, relevant section, page, time, and circumstances. Do not send passwords, identity documents, or private details unrelated to the issue.

Before You Play

  1. Choose a numbered deal or the Daily Deal.
  2. Check how empty columns, the run limit, and auto-collect work here.
  3. Save separately any layout you need to keep.

These rulings complete this table's game. Local progress is not a cloud archive.
